PRETZELS + PINTS

Making the Bavarian Pretzel

A really good cocktail tells a story. It has a narrative. It paints a picture that is more than just flavors mingling, it transports your mind. With the Bavarian Pretzel cocktail, that story starts before your lips hit the glass. Served in a vintage Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn glass that instantly transports you to a cozy German village, evoking the anticipation of biting into a freshly salted pretzel.

THE COMPONENTS

MUSTARD PRETZEL RYE CORDIAL

This blend combines rye whiskey's warmth, the tang of yellow mustard, the rich sweetness of demerara, and the yeasty, bready notes of barley malt syrup, creating the perfect foundation for a beer and pretzel cocktail.

INGREDIENTS + METHOD:

  1. Combine 2 cups of rye, 1 cup of water, 1/2 cup of yellow mustard, 2 cups of demerara sugar, and 1 cup of barley malt syrup.

  2. Blend the mixture cold until unified.
